Ohio State Recruiting: In-State 2025 ATH Bodpegn Miller Talks Ohio State Visit

The Buckeyes enjoyed a dominating win over Michigan State while hosting some of the top in-state recruits.

While Ohio State grinded out and then celebrated the win, 2025 ATH Bodpegn Miller enjoyed a great visit to Columbus. Miller, originally from Ethiopia, is a very talented player and plays both sides of the ball at Ontario High School in Mansfield, Ohio.

One thing that stood Miller the most was the atmosphere, “The atmosphere stood out the most. Not often do you get to play in front of 100,000 fans.” Miller said, “It was electric and thrilling.” His favorite part of the visit was the access he got during warmups. “Being able to stand on the field to watch all the players warm up.”

The Ohio State well-rounded performance was a huge eye-catcher for Miller, “Overall, I was impressed,” Miller said, “Standout athletes like Marvin Harrison Jr showed up to play, as well as the defense. [You have to] always give credit to the O-line.” Along with the performance, he had a very strong connection with the coaching staff this weekend. “I’ve been talking to Coach [Tim] Hinton on the phone and I really felt like he knew and understood me outside of football.”

It is early in his recruitment still, but there are schools in the mix, such as Youngstown State, Ohio, Rutgers, and more. Miller is a very athletic player and his size is a plus. He stands in at 6’4 and weighs 180lbs. Now, with a lot of time for this recruitment to go, Miller is very much on the Buckeyes radar.
