The Buckeyes have long utilized the pipeline from Glenville to Ohio State and West is the latest to join the Scarlet and Gray. West is a solid defensive back with elite speed and lockdown potential. His track-worthy speed boasts times that will turn heads. The youngster ran a 10.93 and 6.96 in the 100 and 60 meter dashes respectively.
West was named a Junior All-American by Max Preps last season and is poised for a big senior season ahead. During his final season, expect to see West climb the recruiting rankings as a valuable asset to Jim Knowles’ defense.
