BOOM! Four-Star TE Damarion Witten Commits to Ohio State

BOOM! Four-star Tight End Damarion Witten commits to Ohio State. This is a huge pickup for Keenan Bailey and the Buckeyes.

Ohio State has landed four-star TE Damarion Witten, a future weapon for the Buckeyes offense. The saying, “The Best In Ohio, Always Stay In Ohio” shows clearly here as he is an underrated tight end and a star in the making.

Witten is 6’2 and weighs 215lbs, his athleticism and ability to get the ball is elite. He is improving quickly on his ability to block. The four-star also has a lot of potential and expect him to be great in Columbus. Witten attends Ohio powerhouse and Buckeye pipeline Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He will be a future star at the tight end position in Columbus and even change the narrative of it.

Ohio State beat out Kentucky for the addition of Witten. Another recruiting victory for the Buckeyes in the state of Ohio out of Glenville, where many Buckeye legends have been produced. He joins Tennessee-Canadian four-star TE Max LeBlanc in the TE room for the 2024 class.

Witten had a great Junior season and was a key for Glenville’s offense. Although his stats weren’t recorded, his film was outstanding. He helped Glenville to a State Championship with fellow Buckeye commit CB Bryce West. They beat many talented Ohio schools such as Avon, Olentangy Liberty, and Wyoming last season. This season, Witten will be face larger-scale matchups against Virginia powerhouse Dinwiddie, Avon, Olentangy Liberty, Archbishop Hoban, and IMG Academy.

Keenan Bailey will enjoy this pickup as Witten has so much potential and will be a tremendous addition. His senior season should be a fun one to watch. Buckeye Nation should be very excited for Witten and the future he gives for the Buckeyes.
