In one of the weekend’s marquee matchups, Georgia and Tennessee traded blows in a high-stakes SEC battle. The Bulldogs showed championship poise, outlasting the Volunteers in a game that lived up to its billing. Kirby Smart’s team continues to prove why they belong among the sport’s elite.
Texas A&M Outduels Notre Dame
In South Bend, Texas A&M and Notre Dame lit up the scoreboard in one of the most entertaining shootouts of the year. The Aggies’ offense hit its stride and made just enough plays late to secure a signature win on the road. For the Irish, it was a gut-punch loss that raises questions about their ceiling in 2025.
LSU Flexes on Florida
Death Valley once again proved to be a nightmare for the Florida Gators as LSU rolled to victory. The Tigers’ physicality on both sides of the ball overwhelmed Florida and reaffirmed LSU’s standing as a true SEC contender.
Clemson Stunned by Georgia Tech
Perhaps the biggest headline of the weekend came from Atlanta, where Georgia Tech shocked Clemson. The Tigers looked out of rhythm offensively and continue to raise major concerns after another early stumble. Brent Key’s Yellow Jackets, meanwhile, grabbed a program-defining win.
