BOOM! Four-Star LB Tarvos Alford Commits to Ohio State!
James Laurinaitis reels in a big commitment in the 2025 class, and adds an elite linebacker to the class.

In addition, Alford picked the Buckeyes over Florida, Miami, Florida State, UCF and more. He stands in at 6’2 and weighs 210lbs, and arguably is one of the best linebackers in the class. An elite tackler and an overall elite player when he’s on the field for Vero Beach. Alford, helped lead Vero Beach to a 9-3 record, and was a huge vocal point to their defense. He holds crazy athleticism and has the ability to create plays all over the field. From filling the gap to getting into the backfield, Alford is an elite prospect.

With his commitment, Alford adds to a very good defensive class for the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes go into Florida and grab an elite prospect with a very high ceiling. Under Knowles and Laurinaitis, Alford will be one to remember. Without argument, Alford is easily one of the best linebackers in the country. He joins five-star CB Devin Sanchez, four-star QB Tavien St. Clair, four-star EDGE Zahir Mathis, four-star OT Carter Lowe, four-star DL London Merritt four-star CB Blake Woodby and three-star LB Eli Lee in the Ohio State 2025 class.
