Cutler has been with Louisiana-Monroe for the past four seasons, redshirting in 2019 prior to playing in 29 games (21 starts) from 2020-2022. The West Monroe, Louisiana native is listed at 6’3, 302 lbs and will likely be a depth piece for an Ohio State offensive line that lost Paris Johnson, Dawand Jones, and Luke Wypler from last year’s team. Ohio State will return just two starters, guards Donovan Jackson and Matt Jones.
Pro Football Focus ratings are not bullish on Cutler’s 2022 performance, giving him a cumulative 42.8 rating, a 41.8 run block rating, and a 47.3 pass block rating. He has started games at center, right tackle, and left tackle throughout his career at Louisiana-Monroe. While the PFF rankings might not be high, Cutler will serve as another body for Justin Frye and the offensive staff to work with, and adds an experienced piece to a relatively inexperienced room.
