Justice Sueing Cleared to Return to All Ohio State Basketball Activities

Ohio State basketball received a big boost this morning as it was announced that senior forward Justice Sueing has been cleared for all basketball activity.

Sueing, who transferred to Ohio State from Cal prior to the 2020-21 season, averaged 10.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in his only full season (thus far) with the Buckeyes. He played in just two games last year, scoring just six points per game, before being shut down for the remainder of the season with a nagging abdominal injury.

His return represents a big boost for an Ohio State team that will be looking for consistent scoring this year. Chris Holtmann brought in several transfers and a top-five recruiting class, but the Buckeyes still don’t have a proven scorer. Sueing represents one of the closest things to what Holtmann is looking for, and his positional versatility and ball-handling ability add to a flexible roster.

Ohio State opens their season on Nov. 7 at Value City Arena against Robert Morris.
