Ohio State Set to Hire Justin Frye as Offensive Line Coach

Ryan Day has made moves quickly and swiftly this offseason, and now the Buckeyes are set to add another piece to their 2022 squad as Justin Frye will be the Ohio State offensive line coach.

Frye will replace Greg Studrawa, who was fired by Ohio State amid a lackluster 2021 after six seasons with the Buckeyes.

The connections between Frye and Day began at Temple and Boston College, where the two worked together. Frye has been at UCLA for the past four seasons, including the last three as offensive coordinator. He was a starting offensive tackle at Indiana from 2003-06.

Frye is the second Ohio State assistant hired this offseason, joining new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles. It is expected that there will be at least one more change on staff.
