The Buckeyes have reached the top of the college football world for the ninth time in program history. A lot comes with that, especially on the recruiting side of things. It’s safe to say, a lot of eyes are on the Buckeyes. A ton of recruits chimed in to The Silver Bulletin about the Buckeyes win.

’26 four-star LB Cincere Johnson: “Ohio State is leading my recruiting, they dominated all year and that game was proof in the pudding. Great game, they deserve it.”

’26 three-star WR Tayshon Bardo: “It’s Ohio State couldn’t expect anything less!”

’26 four-star RB Jae Lamar: “Ohio State went and played as if they were determined they were going to win! Go Buckeyes!”

’27 four-star OL Jayden Dean: “Great win for the boys in Columbus. Coach Frye had the big fellas locked in all night. Going into halftime up 14 points most teams take their foot off the gas.” Dean added, “But Coach Day, Coach Frye, and Coach Kelly kept those guys locked in for the rest of the night and they came out as national champs. Super proud of the offensive line for the great movement they got up front to lead Ohio State’s offense to rush for 214 yards.”

I thought the run game was awesome.” Smith added, “The offensive line did a tremendous job sticking to their blocks and assignments. Donovan Jackson and the OL played with solid technique and really wore out the defensive front of ND. This momentum should allow for the Buckeyes to gain traction with players in my class.”
