In his freshman season, Bradshaw was sidelined for the first seven games of the Wildcats season due to a foot injury he suffered in the offseason. He struggled to see consistent minutes in a stacked Kentucky frontcourt, ultimately averaging 13.7 minutes per game and contributing 4.9 points per game. In his second game against Penn, he went 7-12 from the field and scored 17 points to go along with 11 rebounds. In Kentucky’s win against former head coach John Calipari’s new team Arkansas, he went a perfect 4-4 from the field and finished with 12 points in the Wildcats 111-102 victory.
Adding Bradshaw gives Felix Okpara another big man to help clean up the rebounds and locking down the paint. The New Jersey native also provides Jake Diebler with a more athletic offensive big man, which would draw defenders away from Okpara on the lower block due to Bradshaw being a threat on that end.
