On May 30th, the Buckeyes extended an offer to 2025 Florida DL, four-star Brandon Brown. Brown currently holds offers many top programs such as Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State, and more. The young Florida talent will continue to develop throughout his remaining years in high school as Larry Johnson looks to bolster the “Rushmen” room in Columbus.

From Eau Gallie Florida, Brown is a name starting to rise for the 2025 Class, and the Buckeyes will be factors in his recruitment. An offer from Ohio State is huge for Brown, “It means a lot. Ohio State is a premier program and two hear that they offered me was a once in a lifetime opportunity.” The Buckeyes could become a huge player for the young defensive lineman.

A visit is ideally coming soon for Brown as the Florida native really wants to visit Columbus. However, despite a visit, two things stand out to Brown about Ohio State, “Their Tradition, it is second to none. They’re elite and put guys in the league. I like that.” As always, Larry Johnson is a huge factor to being offered by Ohio State, and it shows to Brown, “Coach (Larry) Johnson is one of the best. He’s down to earth but he’s an alpha. I like that.” The Buckeyes have inserted themselves into Brown’s recruitment with is plenty of time before he announces a decision to win his commitment.
