Igbinosun was rated as the 10th-highest overall player in the transfer portal, according to 247Sports. He is the second defensive back to transfer to Ohio State this cycle, joining former Syracuse safety Ja’Had Carter. Igbinosun is slated to start alongside Denzel Burke, with Jordan Hancock and Jyaire Brown slated to be the next men up. Igbinosun, a New Jersey native, chose the Buckeyes over offers from Tennessee and Michigan.
The Buckeyes have also added Louisiana-Monroe offensive lineman Victor Cutler, Oregon State quarterback Tristan Gebbia, and Arizona State long snapper John Ferlmann.
