Chris Holtmann received a big boost to his to his roster today as four-star guard Taison Chatman has committed to the Ohio State basketball program as a member of the class of 2023-24.
TWEET HEREChatman is a 6’4” 170 lb. combo guard out of Totino-Grace High School near Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has earned the following rankings via 247sports:
-#1 player in Minnesota
-#8 CG Nationally
-#31 overall Nationally
His commitment likely pushes the Ohio State recruiting class into the top-five Nationally. Chatman joins three other high school players that have already committed to Chris Holtmann’s program.
Those players are:
-SF Scotty Middleton from Wichita, Kansas
-PF Devin Royal from Pickerington, Ohio
-C Austin Parks from Saint Marys, Ohio
The hope is that this commitment is not the last for the Buckeyes as they plan for a few more additions, which could include highly-touted players such as Bronny James and Lawrent Rice.
