Ohio State wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton met with the media Saturday, March 28, 2026, for the first time since being hired by Ryan Day. Hankton gave an impressive press conference detailing his decision to come to Columbus, what it’s like coaching Jeremiah Smith, and how the Buckeyes will look at wide receiver in the Fall, including an area of top priority.

Smith also named two defensive standouts and two offensive players to watch throughout the Spring and into Fall camp.
