Ohio State WR coach Cortez Hankton and WR Jeremiah Smith met with the media to discuss the Buckeyes’ wide receiver room.

The Silver Bulletin was the Woody Hayes Athletic Center following Ohio State’s fifth practice of the Spring, as Cortez Hankton and Jeremiah Smith met with the media on Saturday. Ohio State wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton met with the media Saturday, March 28, 2026, for the first time since being hired by Ryan Day. Hankton gave an impressive press conference detailing his decision to come to Columbus, what it’s like coaching Jeremiah Smith, and how the Buckeyes will look at wide receiver in the Fall, including an area of top priority.

Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith met with the media on Saturday, March 28, 2026, to preview the WR room for the Buckeyes, reinforce his loyalty to Ohio State, which was never in doubt amid transfer portal rumors. Smith also named two defensive standouts and two offensive players to watch throughout the Spring and into Fall camp.
