Ohio State has picked up their second transfer of the offseason as Wright State forward Brandon Noel announced that he will be heading to Columbus.
The Buckeyes have been looking for a bigger player who can stretch the floor. Noel, who was the Raiders’ leading scorer this past season at 19 points per game, fits that bill. He is also an active rebounder, averaging 8.1 rebounds per game over the course of his career thus far.
Noel has one year of eligibility remaining. The Lucasville, OH native is the second player to commit to Ohio State through the transfer portal this offseason, joining Indiana guard and fellow Ohio native Gabe Cupps.
Noel is also the second player to recently transfer to Ohio State, as Tanner Holden was a Buckeye during the 2022-23 season, before transferring back to Wright State for his final season. The Buckeyes are still expected to add at least one more player through the portal.
