Late Thursday night, the Buckeyes extended an offer to a very intriguing blue-chip prospect out of Pennsylvania. That being 2026 four-star EDGE Jackson Samuels-Ford out of Malvern Prep. One of the top players in the state of Pennsylvania talked very highly of the Buckeyes. He spoke to The Silver Bulletin about the offer and the Buckeyes.

First off, the offer is a big one for Ford. He said, “The offer means a lot especially because they just came off a national championship run.” One thing that stands out to him about the Buckeyes is their development. Ford spoke highly of the Buckeyes track record at his position, “Their track record. Numbers don’t lie and Ohio State has one of the highest if not the highest number of players put into the league.” He also added, ” They have a track record of sending people that play my position to the league. That speaks volumes.” Despite that, the Buckeyes have quickly found their way to the top of his list. The Pennsylvania pass rusher said, “Just being who they are, they are definitely higher than most schools.”
Furthermore, Ford plans to get to Columbus sooner than later. He said, “Me and my parents are planning to come up for a spring practice… And work an official visit after that if all goes well.” Despite the Buckeyes moving in the right way for Ford, there are a few schools in the mix. Those being Michigan, Wisconsin, USC, and others. As of now he has official visits set to both Michigan and Wisconsin. A commitment could occur after his last official visit in the summer.
