Ohio State Recruiting: 2026 Three-Star WR Shawn Fishwick Recaps Ohio State Visit

Over the past weekend, No. 2 Ohio State dominated No. 5 Indiana. During its 38-15 win, the Buckeyes hosted a ton of recruits. One of those visitors was 2026 three-star WR Shawn Fishwick from Xenia, Ohio, who spoke to The Silver Bulletin about his visit.

Starting, Fishwick stated, “Me and my family had a great time!” He said, “The environment was electric!” He got to speak to the coaches, “I got to talk to Coach Jordan, Coach Hartline, and Coach T. It was great getting to see everyone.” Further, Fishwick said he loves being in Columbus. He spoke about the game, “I feel like it was the most important game of the season and they killed it.”

The in-state recruit loved what he saw from the Buckeyes offense. He thinks the Buckeyes will go undefeated in the next few games and come out on top. He said, “They were dominant at throwing the ball and running the ball after the 1st and 2nd drive.”

More important, he continued to talk about the Buckeyes, and even gave them a great praise. He said, “The actual National Championship Ohio State team played the 2nd half of that game. I was amazed by how they got out of really hard situations and made them seem like it wasn’t even a problem.” He loved the surroundings of people and he said, “I can’t wait to be on campus again.”

Currently the Xenia wideout holds offers from Akron, Toledo, Miami Ohio and a few others. He could definitely find his way to Columbus, he’s a name to watch on the radar. Fishwick holds a ton of potential and Xenia could be looking forward to a huge senior season from the receiver.
