Ohio State takes on Northwestern at Wrigley Field, so here’s how our team sees the matchup playing out as the Buckeyes look to stay hot.

David: The Buckeyes win a great game in Chicago at Wrigley. Ohio State 28 Northwestern 7

Blake: Playing at Wrigley Field is a cool historic opportunity for both programs, however, not strongly encouraged. I think this will be a slower paced game for the Buckeyes trying to stay healthy. The defense will have another strong performance and the offense will have a tactical approach. It will be another efficient day for the Buckeyes. Ohio State 41 Northwestern 3

Dan: Northwestern’s defense should be able to contain Ohio State’s offense at least for a half. I expect the Buckeyes to start slow in another noon contest. Chip Kelly will eventually figure out the Wildcat defense and I expect the offense to have a big second half. Hometown hero Carnell Tate makes his return to Chicago and I expect a play or two designed for No.17 to get him in the end zone. On defense the Buckeyes should not allow a point to this dreadful Wildcat offense. I’m going with a 35-0 victory for the Buckeyes.

Cass: This week little bit of a tough week if you sit and think about it. Buckeyes head into a weird environment where there are more home runs hit than touchdowns. As weird as it is playing a game at Wrigley Field in Chicago, the Buckeyes takes care of business. But it could be one you look at and say wow Ohio State destroyed Northwestern 42-10. Or it could be a weird 27-10 game. Well I am in between. Buckeyes will get their back ups in early and I see Bryson Rogers reaching the end zone for the first time as a Buckeye. Ohio State takes care of business 38-6.

Carson H: Will Howard will do what he has done all season, which is distributing the ball around to his playmakers. I could see another Carnell Tate touchdown and another Jeremiah Smith sprint into the endzone or crazy catch for a score. TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins will both get their chance to break out for a home-run play.

Defensively the Silver Bullets should have no problem slowing down Northwestern’s offense which goes through periods where it can’t get rolling. A few double-plays, or I guess turnovers, would be nice to see in this one. The stars across the field for Ohio State will make sure this game is over early, with another potential top-five matchup looming next week. Buckeyes get up and stay up, in a “road” game that may be dominated by Ohio State fans, including myself. The Buckeyes will be 9-1 with Indiana and That Team Up North looming. Ohio State 41 Northwestern 10
