Ohio State Recruiting: 2026 Four-Star DL Aiden Harris Talks Recruitment, Buckeyes

The Buckeyes have done a great job on the trail in the 2025 class and are looking to carry that on into the 2026 recruiting class.

One of the many players trending heavily for the Buckeyes is ’26 four-star DL Aiden Harris. The North Carolina product has talked highly of the Buckeyes since the offer. He spoke to The Silver Bulletin about his recruitment and the Buckeyes.

Diving in, his recruitment took off this summer as he earned offers from some of the top programs in the country. However, some schools are emerging with Ohio State to make their case for the talented defensive lineman. Those include USC, Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss, and LSU.

Also, Harris plans to take visits during the college football season this Fall. Harris had the following to say about game day visits, “I plan to go to any school that invites me.” Harris also spoke on a potential commitment, not anytime soon. He said, “I plan on committing sometime after the season.” The Buckeyes seem to be the one school to beat in this one and it could very well stay that way on commitment day for Harris.

Further, Harris has called the Ohio State his top school and he reaffirmed that “they are my top school right now.” Harris has a great relationship with Coach [Larry] Johnson and Coach [LaAllan] Clark, “I talk to them every day.” The Buckeyes are at the top for multiple reasons; yet one stands out from the rest.

Harris continued about what sticks out for Ohio State, “they have some loyal fans and they have a great football team, and they know how to get the job done.” The Buckeyes are making a strong case for the Weddington product. Harris said, “I could see myself going somewhere that feels right for me.”

In addition, Weddington is coming off a huge win against Providence Day after an impressive performance from the Weddington defensive line unit, which includes ’25 four-star Ohio State commit Trajen Odom, and his brother ’26 four-star Drew Harris.
