Ohio State Recruiting: 2025 Three-Star TE Brody Lennon Talks Ohio State Offer, Schedules Official Visit

On Thursday, June 13th, the Buckeyes hosted their fourth Summer camp. There were a lot of performances from top prospects that eventually earned an Ohio State offer. One of those prospects was 2025 Ohio three-star TE Brody Lennon after an impressive showing. Lennon has been on Ohio State’s radar for quite some time and needed to camp to earn the offer. Lennon spoke to The Silver Bulletin about the offer and more about his recruitment.

The offer is a big one to Lennon, “It means everything. I grew up an Ohio State fan.” The Buckeyes as a program have a lot to Lennon that stands out to him. He said, “They’re one of the best teams in the nation, and it’s close to home, and I want to compete at a high level.” The offer is a huge one on his recruitment and he called it, “really exciting.” He has a great relationship with Coach Keenan Bailey. He talked very highly about Coach Kee, “Me and Coach Kee are really close, we talk every day. That’s my guy.”

Furthermore, the Buckeyes sit extremely high on his list after the offer. Back in March Lennon said this about Ohio State: “The Buckeyes would stand pretty high in it, but they haven’t offered me yet. But, definitely would be a top choice school for me if they did.” It has always been a dream to play for Ohio State for Lennon. He said, “I have always loved the Buckeyes, and was a dream growing up to play for them.” In addition, Lennon will take an official visit to Ohio State on June 21st through June 23rd. A commitment is most likely coming at the end of June.

The Breakdown

Overall, the Buckeyes are going to take a big class, as they have been wanting to. In addition, the Buckeyes would love to add another tight end next to 2025 four-star Nate Roberts from Oklahoma. Lennon was a huge contributor to Gilmour Academy’s offense. Lennon has a ton of talent and plays with a ton of athleticism. He fits what Ohio State is searching for at Tight End. Before the Ohio State offer, Lennon was focused on Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Missouri. Lennon was originally was going to take an official visit to Penn State next week.  He is going to be on campus with five-star OT David Sanders Jr, five-star Ohio State commit CB Na’eem Offord, four-star EDGE Zion Grady, four-star RB Jordon Davison, four-star Auburn commit DL Malik Autry, four-star WR Winston Watkins Jr, and three-star RB Shekai Mills-Knight. I think by the time his visit rolls around, the Buckeyes will be and are the school to beat for Lennon.
