Ohio State Recruiting: Fast Rising 2026 Texas CB Braylon Edwards talks Spring Game Visit, Recruitment

Ohio State football is starting its spring season, and recruiting is in full swing once again. Recently, fast-rising 2026 CB Braylon Edwards, who has interest from many other schools, announced his spring visit schedule. The Buckeyes are set to host the Duncanville native for the Spring Game on April 13th.

Excitement for the Buckeyes

Edwards spoke with The Silver Bulletin on the Buckeyes and is very excited, “I’m excited to get on the campus for the first time. I’ve heard a lot about it.” His interest in the program itself goes deeper, “It’s big time that is always having themselves in the national championship position. That says a lot, being in the Big Ten.” The relationships are growing between Edwards and the Buckeyes, “I’ve been getting to know them, and meeting the recruiting personnel Parker Wereb.”

Despite that, he wants to get to Columbus for a game, “I would really like to go to Ohio State during an actual gameday.” The future is very bright for Edwards, and he can become a target for the Buckeyes in the future. A lot of time between now and the 2026 signing day. I wouldn’t be shocked if the Buckeyes do become players. He plans to visit LSU (March 9th), Texas (March 23rd), TCU (April 1st), Clemson (April 6th), and Texas A&M (April 20th).

Ohio State is not the only school in the mix, however. Texas A&M and Texas are making strong pushes as well. But SMU, North Texas, and Coastal Carolina are some of his favorites. His plan at the moment goes like this, “Just continuing to develop relationships with coaches and seeing where I fit. It’s going to be a busy spring having six visits confirmed and two more possible.” Moreover, he plans on visiting other Big Ten schools, including Ohio State. Although, Oklahoma is another school working to make a visit happen.
