On March 5th, the Buckeyes had their first spring practice. As expected, the Buckeyes had a few recruits in attendance for practice. One of the recruits was 2025 in-state DB Omar Jah. The Olentangy defensive back spoke with The Silver Bulletin about his spring practice visit.

Starting off, a lot stood out to Jah, “How they emphasized teaching the young guys the culture and making sure everyone its on the same page.” But the vibe was a huge key to the practice, “Everyone [was] getting at it but having fun at the same time. You can tell they really love what they do and are ready to get after it each practice.”
He even took a key lesson from the visit, “Continue to work, no matter what I got to keep the main goal the main goal.”Despite the Buckeyes interest, Jah has a few official visits scheduled to Kent State and Michigan State. But with those two Toledo, West Virginia, Indiana, Miami (OH), Purdue, Pittsburgh, and Vanderbilt are on the radar for Jah.
Jah is expected to be a key player in the Olentangy defense, holding nine total FBS offers. Standing in at 5’11 and weighing 180lbs, he can become an underrated star for the Buckeye state.
