Ohio State Recruiting: Instate 2025 Three-Star WR Preston Bowman Raves About Ohio State Visit

The Buckeyes hosted a huge group of talent in Columbus for their junior day event. Many of those prospects came from inside the Buckeye State, including three-star WR Preston Bowman. He is arguably one of the best wide receivers in Ohio. The Pickerington North prospect was a huge part of their offense along with three-star Ohio State running back signee Sam Williams-Dixon.

This past weekend Bowman had an outstanding visit, “The coaches are all invested in the recruits and I feel like that is very important while in this recruiting process.” Adding to that, the staff was a huge plus. “Top notch for sure, they continue to treat me well and always have great energy,” Bowman said. A return to Ohio State is expected in the future for Bowman.

Currently, camps are coming up and it’s possible to see Bowman at some, “I haven’t sat down and talked to my parents yet about camps.” Bowman added, “I’m going along with the process, playing everything by ear.”

Regarding the status of his recruitment, “Right now, I’m just living in the moment taking everyday step by step.” He added, “Not rushing anything, and staying patient.” Bowman talked about future plans to cut schools and have a commitment, “My goal is to have a top five.” Bowman said, “Be committed by my senior year. I’m still figuring everything out now with schools.”

Schools he plans on visiting include the Buckeyes, but also include Indiana, Northwestern, Duke, Toledo, Tulsa, Illinois, Cincinnati, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Purdue. He added, “What makes [Ohio State] stand out is the way they teach wide receivers and develop them.”
