Ohio State Recruiting: Recently Offered 2026 WR Aaron Gregory Talks Buckeyes

The Buckeyes hosted a huge group of talented receivers from all over the country in their victory over Penn State.

One of those was 2026 wideout Aaron Gregory, who received an offer from Ryan Day and Brian Hartline after his visit. The Georgia star could become a key target in the Buckeyes 2026 class.

Starting off, the visit was a big success for Gregory and the Buckeyes. “The thing that stood out the most with the atmosphere, and the coaching towards the receivers,” Gregory said. He was impressed with Marvin Harrison Jr and the offense as well, “The way Marvin was able to go from slot to outside and still make plays.”

Additionally, he was impressed with the atmosphere in the Buckeyes win, “The atmosphere was great,” Gregory said. “The crowd was crazy and it gets loud because there’s so many people in there.” But his favorite part of the game was in the 4th quarter.Β  “My favorite part was late in fourth quarter when [the Buckeyes] kind of started pulling ahead.” He plans on returning to Ohio State. [I am] Definitely going back, but I’m not sure when, more than likely in the Spring.” But, his recruitment still has a long way to go, “There’s a lot of schools that are catching my eye, but because I’m so young, I’m still trying to figure out the right fit and build those important relationships. Coaches can go anywhere, you want that bond and it doesn’t matter what color you wear.”

Despite receiving an Ohio State offer, Gregory’s recruitment is not expected to conclude soon. Gregory holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and plenty more. He is rated as a five-star prospect per the 247Sports Composite rankings, and stands in at a 6-3 and 170lbs. He is also in same class as Buckeye commitment and fellow five-star WR Chris Henry Jr.
