2026 CB Demari Clemons Talks Ohio State Visit, Interest

While the Buckeyes dominated Youngstown State, they hosted some notable recruits on campus. One of them being New York native, Demari Clemons. The Buckeyes hosted the two-way star in their 35-7 win over the Penguins.

With the Buckeyes win, Clemons ultimately enjoyed his visit, “The visit was what I expected and more. Regardless of your status everyone was treated the same and was a priority from the time you arrived until the time you left.” That wasn’t the only thing that stood out to him, ” The city rallies behind the university 100% that plays a major part when deciding to spend the next four to five years of your life at a college.”

“The history, and how well-prepared the athletes are for the next level,” are three things that stood out to Clemons. Getting to the NFL is also a big factor for the athlete, as he values development. “[I want to] make it to the NFL but more so how do I plan to spend the next four years of my life at Ohio State and most importantly become better person than I did walking in.”

Getting back to Ohio State is definitely on Clemons schedule, soon. “I plan on returning to Ohio State soon so I can pick up where I left off.” But it won’t be just another visit, it’ll be one of many visits. He raved about learning the program and history that he will make more than one visit to Columbus.

Ohio State isn’t the only school set to get visits. Penn State is set to possibly receive a visit. “I plan on visiting Penn State soon.” But after that he plans on locking in with his season and continuing to figure out where home is for him. But, Clemons is having a solid season at Grayson High School in Georgia. Expect the Buckeyes to be in the mix for Clemons down the line.
