McClellan’s addition is just another in a long line of highly-rated recruits pulled by Brian Hartline in recent years. McClellan, who hails from Christian Brothers High School in St. Louis, Missouri, is the third wide receiver in Ohio State’s 2024 class, joining five-stars Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham. This comes after the Buckeyes signed four receivers (including three of the top ten receivers) in the 2023 cycle.
If Christian Brothers High School sounds familiar, it is the same school that produced former Buckeyes Kamryn Babb and Cam Brown, both of whom enrolled at Ohio State as part of the 2018 recruiting class.
McClellan is rated as the No. 142 overall player in the class of 2024, the No. 24 wide receiver, and the No. 5 player in the state of Missouri. He chose Ohio State over offers such as Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, and Tennessee.
