After locking down the rest of the offense, Ohio State’s 2024 class finally added their gunslinger today as Fairburn, Georgia four-star quarterback Air Noland has committed to the Buckeyes.
BREAKING: Elite 2024 QB Air Noland has Committed to Ohio State!
The No. 4 QB in the ‘24 Class chose the Buckeyes over Clemson, Miami, Texas A&M, and others.
“Ohio State is QB University,” Noland said. “The goal is to always beat The Team Up North.”https://t.co/vXbThTe9MM pic.twitter.com/m5KKG0FbnX

Of course, Noland wasn’t Ohio State’s first 2024 committed quarterback. The Buckeyes held a pledge from No. 1 overall player Dylan Raiola, who ultimately de-committed from the Buckeyes due to what has been described as significant family pressure. Ryan Day and the Buckeyes swooped in quickly on Noland, and ultimately landed a player many think will have a better career than Raiola.
The four-star lefty is rated as the No. 55 overall player in the 2024 class, the No. 7 quarterback, and the No. 8 player in the state of Georgia. The similarities to a previous Ohio State quarterback, CJ Stroud, are uncanny. Both stand at relatively the same stature (Noland is 6’3, 195, whereas Stroud was 6’2.5, 194 leaving high school), with undeniable arm talent and athleticism.
Ryan Day was hesitant to offer Noland at first, but the writing seemed to be on the wall when Noland included the Buckeyes in his final seven schools immediately preceding his Ohio State visit, where he ultimately did receive the coveted offer that led to this commitment. He chose the Buckeyes over Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Miami, Oregon, and Texas A&M.
Ohio State’s 2024 offensive class now includes:
- Five-Star WR Jeremiah Smith (FL)
- Five-Star WR Mylan Graham (IN)
- Four-Star QB Air Noland (GA)
- Four-Star RB James Peoples (TX)
- Four-Star IOL Ian Moore (IN)
- Four-Star OL Devontae Armstrong (OH)
- Four-Star OL Deontae Armstrong (OH)
- Three-Star OL Marc Nave (OH)
