Ohio State’s 2023 class took a hit this evening as four-star running back Mark Fletcher announced that he would be re-opening his recruitment.

Fletcher has recently visited local schools Florida and Miami and is rumored to be heavily involved in the NIL market, a market that is much easier to enter locally.
Ohio State now has no running backs committed in the 2023 class, although they have reached out to several with Fletcher being on the outs for a little while. Cincinnati’s Trey Cornist and Douglasville, Georgia three-star Jamarion Wilcox as well as five-star Louisville commit Rueben Owens are expected to be on the short-list.
