Just two days after the spring game, Ohio State has lost a player to the transfer portal as defensive lineman Jacolbe Cowan is the latest to enter his name.

Cowan was a four-star recruit coming out of high school in Charlotte, North Carolina, rated as the No. 163 overall player and No. 17 defensive tackle in the 2020 class. At Ohio State, Cowan did not log any time on the field after redshirting the abbreviated 2020 campaign.
The Buckeyes are expected to be led at defensive tackle this year by a top four of Taron Vincent, Tyleik Williams, Jerron Cage, and Mike Hall.
With several big-time offers coming out of high school, Cowan should have no shortage of options in the transfer portal.
