Banks, a former four-star recruit from Orlando, played parts of four seasons for Ohio State but was at his best in 2020, when he totaled 23 tackles, seven pass breakups, and an interception. After an injury-plagued 2021 that saw the emergence of Denzel Burke on the outside along with the return of Cameron Brown, there was no starting space for Banks and he ultimately elected to pursue other opportunities.
Banks seemed to appreciate his time in Columbus, even taking part in Senior Day against Michigan State at the end of last season.
Now, he’s heading to Baton Rouge to play for Brian Kelly.
